:bulletblue::bulletred::bulletblue:Artwork Qualifications and Dis-approvals:bulletblue::bulletred::bulletblue:

Artwork must be of high quality, and must be neat, we will not accept sketches, WIPs or unfinished pieces. We are looking for art that has put effort into it. Colour, volume, decent anatomy and a suitable background can make the difference between a good piece of art and a great one, and whether or not a piece will be accepted. First and foremost, we want art of a high standard, that you yourself are proud of!

Mature artwork (Mostly revolving around sexual content) will not be accepted into the group.

Hate art towards any character will be declined immediately, we are a group that shows artwork for fans of all Pokemon. If you do not like a character you should keep it to yourself. All pokemon deserve love, none deserve hate.

Here we have some awesome affiliates for you to check out. Stop by and pay them a visit when you can, you may just find something you like. They are affiliates for a reason after all ~:heart:

I have a question, would Mega-Evolutions of Pokemon from a different generation go in to Generation 6? (where mega-evolutions were introduced) or in their proper generation?

now why was my giratina rejected?

Apologies, but it unfortunately does not meet the quality standard of our group. While you have obviously put in the effort, with a detailed character and background, it's very two dimensional and flat. You could try some shading, blending, adding more colour and experiment with different pencil directions and pressures. Lineart in places is messy/wobbly too, and if you are scanning your pictures, perhaps you could try increasing the brightness and contrast of the picture on a computer before posting, as overall it's a little dull.

Please don't take this as discouragement, and don't be disheartened. When I fist came on DA, I actually started with colouring pencil traditional art (which is actually really difficult to do well) and got pieces rejected all the time from this group. (I only became the founder around a year ago) But I used their criticism to my advantage, and kept striving to improve, and now I can get some of my pokemon art into the top, most picky pokemon art groups (though I still get rejections, it something you always have to deal with!)

I hope this explained everything, and I wish you the best of luck in future pieces!

yeah I've been drawing for 17 years so I don't need you telling me how to draw, and if you have the money, send me about 300 dollars American for a fancy scanner and those expensive art supplies.

also I'm not lazy either so I don't use a computer to draw, and knowing that this group rejects everything execpt those fake digital drawings says alot about your third-class group, not everyone draws with those silly tablets and computer programs which practically do the work for you, I find it god damned rude of you to tell me my art is below standards

tell you what, if you can do better then me BY HAND I would like to see it

I apologize if i came across rude but I have several things to say about your rebuttal. Fist of all, digital art is far from easy. It can be just as difficult as traditional art, and takes a ridiculous amount of time and effort to get good at. The tablet does not to the work for you, it is just like any other medium. It takes hard work and practice to master, and like any other art medium, it will 100% not do the work for you.

Secondly, I am not purely a digital artist. I said earlier that I used to use regular colouring pencils, and that's how I started out on DA.

And believe it or not I still do traditional art, though I have moved on to watercolours. These are some recent ones of mine, using a cheap store bought watercolour set, not expensive art supplies at all. I don't have a fancy scanner either, just a basic one, but many will have the option, when you choose to scan anything, to increase the brightness and contrast of the photo.

And also, as a group we do accept and love traditional art, here are just a few of the many examples:

You asked me why you're piece was rejected and I did try to explain why and give some constructive criticism. I am truly sorry if you were offended.
